Once upon a time, in a quiet little village, there was a beautiful river. The river was wide and clear, and it flowed gently through the fields. In this river, there lived a kind-hearted duck named Daisy.
Daisy was a very special duck. She had bright green eyes and soft, fluffy feathers. Every day, she would swim around the river, looking for yummy worms and fish. She loved to splash in the water and play with her friends, the fish and the frogs.
One sunny morning, Daisy was swimming near the riverbank when she heard a soft, sad sound. She looked around and saw a little rabbit sitting on the grass, crying. Daisy paddled closer and asked, “Why are you so sad?”
The little rabbit wiped his eyes and said, “I lost my way home. I don’t know where to go.”
Daisy felt her heart go out to the little rabbit. She knew how scary it was to be lost. “Don’t worry,” she said kindly. “I’ll help you find your way home.”
So, Daisy and the little rabbit set off together. They walked along the riverbank, asking the animals they met for directions. The wise old owl told them to follow the path with the colorful flowers. The friendly squirrel pointed them toward the big oak tree.
As they walked, Daisy and the little rabbit talked and laughed. They saw beautiful butterflies dancing in the air and heard the sweet songs of the birds. The little rabbit felt happier and happier, knowing he had a new friend to help him.
Finally, they came to a small wooden house with a garden full of carrots. The little rabbit’s eyes lit up. “That’s my home!” he exclaimed. He ran to the door and knocked. His mother opened it and hugged him tightly. “I was so worried about you,” she said.
Daisy smiled and waved goodbye to her new friend. She knew she had done something good. As she swam back to the river, she felt proud of herself. She had helped someone in need, and that made her heart feel warm and happy.
From that day on, Daisy became known as the kindest duck in the river. And the little rabbit never forgot the day when a brave duck helped him find his way home.
