sunny morning, Timmy the squirrel was busy gathering acorns in the forest. He loved the way the leaves rustled in the wind and the soft, cool grass under his feet. As he scampered from tree to tree, he found a shiny red ball lying under a bush. It was so bright and round, unlike anything he had seen before. Timmy decided to take the ball to the Lost and Found, a cozy little hut near the edge of the forest where all the lost things went.
When he arrived, he saw Mr. Owl, the keeper of the Lost and Found, sitting on a stool. Mr. Owl had wise eyes and a gentle smile. “Hello, Timmy,” he said. “What have you found today?” Timmy held up the red ball. “I found this in the forest. I think someone lost it,” he explained. Mr. Owl nodded and took the ball. “Thank you, Timmy. I’ll make sure it gets back to its owner.”
A few days later, Timmy was playing with his friends when he saw a little rabbit named Rosie looking very sad. She was searching the ground, sniffing and hopping around. Timmy went up to her and asked, “What’s wrong, Rosie?” Rosie looked up with tears in her eyes. “I lost my favorite ball. It’s red and shiny, and I can’t find it anywhere,” she said. Timmy’s heart felt warm. He remembered the ball he had found and taken to the Lost and Found.
He ran to the hut and found Mr. Owl. “Mr. Owl, Rosie lost her red ball. Is it the same one I found?” he asked. Mr. Owl smiled and said, “Yes, it is! Let’s go give it back to her.” Timmy and Mr. Owl went to Rosie, and when she saw her ball, her face lit up with joy. “Thank you so much!” she said, hugging Timmy tightly. “You’re a true friend.”
From that day on, Timmy and Rosie became the best of friends. They played together every day, and Timmy learned that helping others could bring so much happiness. The Lost and Found wasn’t just a place for lost things; it was a place where kindness and friendship were found.
