Once upon a time, in a land far away, there was a city called Jerusalem. This city was very special because it was the home of God’s people. But one day, something sad happened. The walls around the city were broken down, and the gates were burned. Without walls, the city felt unsafe, and the people were very worried.
In a faraway place called Babylon, there lived a man named Nehemiah. Nehemiah was a good and faithful man who loved God and his people very much. One day, Nehemiah heard the sad news about Jerusalem. His heart was filled with sorrow when he learned that the walls of his beloved city were in ruins. He knew he had to do something to help.
Nehemiah decided to pray to God and ask for wisdom and strength. He knew that rebuilding the walls would be a big job, but he believed that with God’s help, anything was possible. After praying, Nehemiah felt a strong sense of peace and knew that God was with him.
Nehemiah then went to the king and asked for permission to go to Jerusalem and rebuild the walls. The king, seeing Nehemiah’s sincerity and faith, granted his request and even gave him the resources he needed. Nehemiah was overjoyed and quickly made his way to Jerusalem.
When Nehemiah arrived in Jerusalem, he gathered the people together and shared his plan to rebuild the walls. The people were excited but also a little scared because they knew it wouldn’t be easy. There were many challenges ahead, and some people even laughed at their idea, saying it couldn’t be done.
But Nehemiah was determined. He encouraged the people by saying, “Let us rise up and build!” He divided the work among the people, and everyone had a job to do. Some carried stones, some laid bricks, and others guarded the city to keep them safe from those who might try to stop them.
As the people worked, they faced many difficulties. There were enemies who tried to scare them and make them give up. But Nehemiah reminded them of God’s promise and encouraged them to keep going. He said, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”
The people were inspired by Nehemiah’s words and worked even harder. They built the walls with their hands and hearts, knowing that they were not just building a wall but also showing their faith in God. Day by day, the walls grew higher and stronger. The people worked together, helping one another and supporting each other through tough times.
Finally, after many days of hard work, the walls were completed! The people rejoiced and celebrated with great joy. They had accomplished something amazing, and they knew that it was all because of God’s help and Nehemiah’s leadership. They gathered together and thanked God for His faithfulness and protection.
The story of Nehemiah and the wall teaches us that with God, nothing is impossible. When we face challenges in our lives, we can trust in God’s strength and wisdom. Just like Nehemiah, we can be brave and determined, knowing that God is always with us.
So, my dear friends, remember the story of Nehemiah and the wall. Whenever you feel scared or unsure, pray to God and ask for His help. Believe that you can do great things with His guidance and strength. And always remember to work together with others, because together we can achieve amazing things.
