One sunny morning, all the kids in Ms. Green’s class were very excited because they were going on a school trip to the zoo. They had been waiting for this day for a long time. As the bus pulled up in front of the school, the children quickly got on, chatting and laughing.
When they arrived at the zoo, the animals seemed to be waiting for them too. The first animal they saw was a big, friendly elephant. It waved its trunk at the kids, and everyone waved back. “Elephants are so cool!” said Timmy, who loved animals.
Next, they visited the monkey area. The monkeys were swinging from tree to tree and making funny faces. Sarah giggled and said, “They look like they’re having a party!” The teacher reminded everyone to stay quiet near the bird section, and they saw beautiful parrots with bright, colorful feathers.
After lunch, they went to see the lions. The lions were resting in the sun, and the kids whispered, “Wow, they’re so majestic!” At the end of the trip, they all got on the bus, feeling happy and tired.
As they rode back to school, Ms. Green asked the kids what their favorite animal was. There were so many answers, but one thing was clear: the school trip had been a wonderful adventure for everyone.
