One sunny morning, Timmy woke up with a big smile on his face. Today was a special day¡ªhe was going to visit his grandma. Timmy loved going to grandma’s house because she always had the most wonderful surprises waiting for him.
As soon as Timmy and his mom arrived, Grandma opened the door with a warm hug. “Welcome, my little sunshine!” she said with a twinkle in her eyes. Timmy could smell the delicious cookies baking in the kitchen. His stomach growled, and he laughed.
After a yummy snack of cookies and milk, Grandma took Timmy to the garden. “Look at all the pretty flowers,” she said, pointing to the colorful blooms. Timmy saw butterflies dancing from flower to flower. He chased after them, giggling and clapping his hands.
Then, Grandma showed Timmy a secret hiding spot under a big, old tree. “This is where I used to play when I was your age,” she whispered. Timmy climbed inside and felt like he was in a magical cave. He imagined he was a brave explorer discovering a new world.
Before they knew it, it was time for lunch. Grandma had made Timmy’s favorite meal¡ªmacaroni and cheese. They sat at the table, talking and laughing. Timmy told Grandma all about his school and his friends, and Grandma shared stories from when she was a little girl.
In the afternoon, they went for a walk around the neighborhood. Timmy waved to all the neighbors, who smiled and waved back. He felt so happy to be with his grandma, surrounded by kindness and love.
As the sun began to set, Timmy and his mom got ready to go home. Grandma gave Timmy a big hug and a bag of cookies to take with him. “Thank you for the best day ever, Grandma!” Timmy said, hugging her tightly.
On the way home, Timmy looked out the window and thought about how much he loved visiting his grandma. He couldn’t wait for the next time they could have another adventure together.
